Description
Display of design process behind boot design, the Nero
I've always wanted to design my own shoe so I started conceptualizing a boot design.
The concept that I chose was the around the word "nero," which in "hiking culture" is a day where a hiker goes nearly zero miles.
With this, I played around with the dichotomy of urban vs. natural environments to make a shoe that was made for both casual streetwear and light hiking situations.
